About Our Equine Operations
Heavenly Horse Equestrians, the Interscholastic Equestrian Association team based here since 2020, competes from September to January in a format where riders draw an unfamiliar horse at each show and meet it for the first time in the arena; no rider needs to own a horse or tack to take part. Instruction at the Pinckney centre follows the Certified Horsemanship Association’s leveled curriculum alongside the HorseSense Leveled Curriculum, in English and Western, for ages 3 to 103. Private appointments cost $50 for thirty minutes rising to $140 for two hours, and a Horsemanship Club membership includes at least four hours of instructional riding plus a quarter off other services. Travelling horses can stop over at $20 a night, and Jenn Gay takes those bookings.
