About Our Equine Operations
Horses on the available list are named for musicians and actors — Joni Mitchell, Freddie Mercury, Ed Sheeran, Loose Lips Lucy — and the roster runs past thirty, with fees from $700 for a mini to $3,500 for an off-track Thoroughbred mare. Adoption starts with an application and a visit arranged by email; a surrender agreement covers horses coming in the other direction. Fosters get pre-approved routine and mandatory emergency veterinary costs paid by the ranch, and are asked to cover hoof and dental care; a forever-foster route lets a horse stay permanently with the foster carrying the costs. An alumni page follows horses after placement. The Prior Lake address is a private residence, so visits are by arrangement.
