About Our Equine Operations
Georgia Equine Veterinary Services has practised from Canton since Dr. Laura DuVall Molony founded it in September 2011, following more than twenty years as an equine veterinarian and a prior partnership at Chattahoochee Equine. The practice combines ambulatory farm-call service with an on-site surgical facility capable of emergency, critical care and elective procedures. Routine wellness visits cover AAEP-recommended core and risk-based vaccinations, fecal egg count-guided deworming, annual physical exams and health certificates. Dental work is performed with speculums and power floats and can include removing baby teeth, wolf teeth or correcting malalignments during a standard exam. The practice also coordinates podiatry care alongside farriers rather than performing shoeing itself.
