About Our Equine Operations
Two arms run off one herd at Carissa Ramsdell’s ranch on Arthur-Hardison Road in Columbia. The rescue side assists law enforcement with site documentation and custody care of neglected and abused equines, and names roughly twenty-five intake cases on its own pages — Goliath, Wildfire, Gideon, Judah, the Maury County 5. Rehabilitated horses move onto an adoption list: as of 1 July 2026 George, an eleven-year-old Tennessee Walking Horse, Sparrow, a 24-year-old Quarter Horse cross, and Nehemiah, a 15hh racking horse, were open to vetted applicants, and any later rehoming sends the new owner through the same application. The other arm pairs volunteer mentors with children and teens: riding, ground and liberty work, hiking the land, games, crafts and farm chores. Sessions cost nothing.
