Blake Everett, DVM, MS, trained through an internship at Rood and Riddle in Lexington and a large animal surgical residency at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, and is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (Large Animal). The main surgery suite carries a large observation window so owners can watch; a second space fitted with hydraulic stocks lets cases be done standing under sedation rather than general anaesthesia. Procedures listed include arthroscopy, exploratory laparotomy for colic, neurectomy, caesarean section, fracture repair, laparoscopic ovariectomy, oral and ophthalmic work and mass removal. Reproduction covers artificial insemination, a full-service embryo transfer programme, fetal sexing after 54 days and oocyte aspiration for ICSI.
