About Our Equine Operations
Eastern Hay operates from the former Heinchon Dairy property on Route 22 in Pawling, a farm that began delivering milk door to door across Dutchess County in 1923 before its transition to equine forage production in the 1980s and incorporation as Eastern Hay Corp in the 2000s. From that Pawling site the company stocks and distributes hay for horses, cattle and other livestock, offering alfalfa, timothy and orchard grass in western and straight varieties, square and round bales, and custom mixes. Feed, bedding, heating pellets and rock salt are also sold from the location, alongside feed and vendor consultations. Eastern Hay ships throughout the north-east and offers nationwide and international delivery from its Pawling base.
