About Our Equine Operations
Carly and Travis Atkinson opened this Lehi yard in spring 2013, near Thanksgiving Point. Travis rode thoroughbred racehorses professionally from 13, spent seven years racing across the western states and ten years as a professional bull rider, and has evented through Intermediate/3* since 2013; Carly has taught since 2004, evented to Preliminary, and describes a knack for turning unwanted and difficult horses into children-safe mounts. Lessons are sold as monthly academy tiers — four or eight mounted lessons plus four horsemanship sessions, live or live-streamed — with a rider certification programme and student testing behind them. Training packages run four to five rides a week, with problem-horse work among them. The site has a cross-country course, exercise track and Equiciser.
