About Our Equine Operations
Formed in 2006 from the merging of multiple practices from Northeast Ohio into a single clinic and ambulatory practice, this Ravenna hospital sits on 30 acres at 3340 Webb Road, with a full surgical suite and recovery, 19 stalls, pastures and an indoor arena. An MRI centre, computed tomography, dynamic endoscopy and neurological diagnostics are listed among the services. The in-house lab returns results in under 24 hours, running CBC, chemistry, fibrinogen, Serum Amyloid A and blood gas, with universities and outside labs used for ACTH/Insulin, microbiology, Coggins and EPM. Reproductive work covers brood mare evaluation, problem mare examinations and artificial insemination with transported cooled semen. Dentistry is performed with power equipment by a licensed veterinarian and extends to wolf teeth removal, incisor, pre-molar and molar extraction, and skull radiographs.
