About Our Equine Operations
Before a mare is booked at Paris, a Mare Information Form must be on file, naming her stallion and share number, her status — in foal, barren, maiden, slipped or not bred — and the Kentucky farm where she is currently boarding. Cultures and CEM certificates go to the booking office by fax or email; barren mares and mares with dead foals submit a negative aerobic uterine culture before their first trip to the shed, maidens are jumped first, and every mare needs halter or neckstrap identification when presented. A clean culture is required again from the third heat and for all subsequent covers. Stud fees for the coming season are published each autumn. Visitors book a 60-minute walking stallion tour at 10am or 11am daily, $20 for adults and $11 for children twelve and under.
