About Our Equine Operations
An Esaote MRI, which the clinic says makes it the only veterinary facility in Arizona with one, is used two ways: standing under light sedation for limb and foot images, and recumbent under general anesthesia to reach anatomy above the distal limb. Drs. Martin Vidal, Fabio Aristizabal and Lea Walker cover sports medicine, lameness and surgery at the 34705 N 14th St campus, where bone scans, gastroscopy, respiratory endoscopy, stem cell and IRAP therapy, and orthopedic, abdominal, urogenital and dental surgery are also available. Dentistry extends to standing or anesthetized extractions and sinus procedures. The rehabilitation arm, managed by Dr. Sherry Johnson, uses resistance band and balance pad work, retrograde lymphatic compression and blood flow restriction training. Hoof care on site comes from Hoof & Forge, an independent farriery.
