About Our Equine Operations
Brazos Equine Services has treated horses in Parker County since 1992, running both a mobile veterinary operation and a clinic with an on-site laboratory. Its dentistry programme uses Powerfloat equipment for tooth rounding and covers wolf tooth removal, cap and enamel-point removal, bit-seat creation, canine reduction, and, in older horses, ramp and hook reduction and molar extraction. Other services include lameness evaluation, pre-purchase exams, digital radiography, ultrasound diagnostics and breeding work. The practice holds affiliations with the American Association of Equine Practitioners, the National Cutting Horse Association and the American Quarter Horse Association, reflecting a performance-horse client base. Complex imaging cases are referred out for MRI or CT rather than handled in house.
