About Our Equine Operations
Since 2002, Blue Springs Farm has taught both English hunt seat and western pleasure riding in Ball Ground under instructor Marcy Blue. Group lessons run an hour with a minimum of two riders, while private lessons are thirty minutes one-to-one, both priced at $65 with package discounts for four or eight sessions. The farm hosts two interscholastic equestrian teams, Forsyth Central High School’s team, competing since the 2005-06 season, and Lambert High School’s hunt seat squad, both of which compete at regional, zone and national levels without requiring members to own or lease a horse. Summer camp runs weekdays for riders aged 6 to 16, working in a covered arena regardless of weather, with campers riding twice daily and a Friday showcase for families.
