About Our Equine Operations
Six veterinarians — Peter Blauner VMD, Jennifer Buchholz VMD, Diana Cnudde VMD, Rachel Herman DVM, Kelli Powers DVM and Nina Dellarte VMD — work from 219 Maple Ave. in Harleysville as what the practice calls an ambulatory equine practice serving Montgomery, Bucks and Chester counties, with emergency care available 24 hours a day. Lameness cases are worked up using regional and intra-articular anaesthesia alongside digital radiography and digital ultrasound. Dental visits may end in floating, radiographs, extractions or nothing at all depending on the exam, and most patients are sedated beforehand for a full oral examination. Other services listed include gastroscopy for gastric ulcers, ophthalmology, shockwave, regenerative therapies, equine acupuncture, senior wellness, pre-purchase examinations and mare reproductive care.
