About Our Equine Operations
Bits & Bytes Farm operates as an off-the-track thoroughbred sales and retraining operation in Canton, working horses fresh off the racetrack into show and pleasure mounts for jumping, eventing and dressage. Boarding at the farm is open to outside horses regardless of discipline, with foxhunters, eventers, dressage horses and pleasure horses all accepted on a full-board basis; horses get roughly twelve hours of daily turnout, which the farm says reduces the need for daily riding to keep them mentally sound. Stalls run an oversized 12 by 18 feet, and the property includes a 100-by-200-foot LED-lit jumping arena, a cross-country course through wooded trails, and a round pen. Buyers of the farm’s thoroughbreds receive free training as part of the purchase.
