About Our Equine Operations
Horses and people have shared Bell Mountain Ranch since 1870, when the property operated as a dairy farm before becoming a centre for breeding, raising and training Morgan horses; it now runs as a boarding and riding facility on Bell Mountain Parkway in Castle Rock under owners Matt Wassam and Kim Haarberg. The property includes a large indoor arena, two outdoor arenas and access to more than 30 miles of trails. Boarding ranges from free-feed paddocks at $710 a month to North Point box stalls with runs at $1,235 a month, with further space in the Creekside and Breezeway barns; seasonal pasture board is available on a limited basis. Riding lessons are offered, though the site does not name individual instructors. A saddle shop on the property offers free saddle fitting alongside Purina feed sales.
