About Our Equine Operations
Theresa Batchelor became a quadriplegic in 1997 and found her way back through horses — in particular a discarded and abused Arabian filly called Beauty, who gave this Morriston charity both its name and, in 2006, its start. It marks twenty years in October 2026. Adoption runs through an Interest Form first; a matching horse brings an Adoption Application, returned with a $25 processing donation and photographs of the applicant’s fences, gates, water sources, stalls and current horses. No price is set, though a suggested donation amount is recommended, and the binding contract provides for periodic site visits, written updates and return at the adopter’s expense. Nine horses, among them the Arabian geldings Magic and Mo, stay on permanently as special-needs cases. Visitors by appointment; closed Sundays.
