About Our Equine Operations
Two hundred acres on Whites Ferry Road at Poolesville support dressage, eventing and jumper riders through a graded academy rather than open lesson bookings. Membership is monthly: Bronze at $399 buys one lesson a week, Silver $769 two, Gold $1,155 two plus practice sessions, and a first hour costs $150. Progress is tracked against a levelled curriculum on Trello with photographs and video, and a two-hour horsemanship clinic runs monthly. School horses carry the title Professor — Ally for dressage, Bali for intermediate riders, Fancy for beginners, Roxie for cross-training, with Fatima retired. Eliza SanNicolas holds American Riding Instructors Association Level 2 certificates in eventing and dressage; Chris Knuth read equine studies and business management at Averett College and has evented to Preliminary; Julie Hagen has taught sport horses over thirty years.
