About Our Equine Operations
Brendan Furlong, MVB MRCVS, founded this practice in 1982 and remains its president and owner; the base is 101 Homestead Road in Oldwick, though most work is done at the client’s farm, with emergency cover around the clock. The roster includes two diplomates of the American College of Theriogenology, Jennifer Linton, VMD, and Olivia Stonehouse, DVM, alongside diplomates in internal medicine and surgery. Breeding work runs from cycle management and breeding soundness exams through artificial insemination with fresh, cooled or frozen semen, embryo collection and transfer, oocyte collection, semen centrifugation and freezing, and epididymal sperm harvesting; a satellite breeding facility operates at Pittstown. Rehabilitation is handled at Furlong’s Soundness Center, which has a dry treadmill, water treadmill, salt water spa, vibration plate and solarium.
