About Our Equine Operations
Avon Valley Show Stables sits on 30 acres along the Farmington River in Avon, where a hunt course, cross-country course and stadium lighting support its hunter/jumper programme. Owner and head trainer Emer Coyne leads a team that includes assistant trainers Sophia Pellegrino and Kaitlyn Boggio, sales manager Alyssa Davis, and instructors Katie Doran, Olivia Tashlein and Lyn Price. The farm maintains ties to the Miss Porter’s School riding programme and fields an IEA team as well as its own show team. Full board runs $1,250 a month and includes twice-daily stall cleaning, daily turnout and seven-day facility access; a separate training-board track adds two or three weekly training sessions. Horses can also be leased or sold through the farm.
