About Our Equine Operations
A horse girl long before she was a photographer, Ashley Payne has spent more than a decade shooting equine portraits across the Southeastern United States from a base near Nashville. Her work falls into three lines — equine portraiture, horse and rider, and equine business and product — and finishes as wall art rather than files alone, which has brought collaborations with professional designers and equestrian homeowners. No price list is published, books were closed when this was written, and the waitlist covers Middle Tennessee and beyond, with enquiries answered in one to two weeks. She also teaches other equine photographers one to one, in person and online, covering black-background editing, coat-colour correction, mane retouching, posing horses at shoots and preparing files for print.
