About Our Equine Operations
Robert P. Boswell founded the Florida Association of Equine Practitioners in 2005 and served as its first president. He graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 1985, has practiced equine-exclusively for over 32 years from 14366 Belmont Trace, and holds licenses in Florida and Montana. The International Equine Veterinarian Hall of Fame inducted him in 2018. His team appointments include the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games, the 1994 World Equestrian Games and the 2009 USEF Developing Rider squad in Linz. Day to day the work is lameness and sport horse imaging, with digital radiography and ultrasound in house and MRI and scintigraphy read as consults, plus ultrasound-guided injection of the navicular bursa, cervical vertebrae and sacro-iliac joints, shockwave, PRP, IRAP, BMAC and stem cells.
