About Our Equine Operations
Sunrise Equine’s eventing operation on North Shields Street in Fort Collins sits on 120 acres of rideable pasture and has run as an owner-operated boarding and training barn for about 20 years. The property centres on English disciplines, mainly eventing with dressage and hunter/jumper lessons, and includes a full-size jumping arena and a cross-country field that hosts on-site mini trials rated tadpole through training level. Boarding is pasture-only: full care with alfalfa runs $550 a month without grain or $625 with up to two quarts daily, split between an ‘A Side’ with a footed dressage ring and grazing pastures over 20 acres, and ‘The Ranch’ with more than 35 acres and a footed round pen. Horses are kept in small to medium herd groups with overnight paddocks, and lesson horses are available to riders without their own mounts.
