A degree in agricultural communications and journalism from Texas A&M came first; the camera work began with one course taken during it. Jenna Regan now photographs on location from an office in McKinney off Highway 75, covering horses of all breeds, ages and sizes throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and travelling across Texas or nationwide on request. Each booking opens with a pre-consultation by phone, Skype or in person, includes help planning location and outfits, and closes at an in-person viewing and ordering appointment. Retouching is hand-done in Photoshop, which she calls Master Art Retouching. Prints and products are charged a la carte “with no minimum purchase requirement”, and buyers are told they spend anywhere from hundreds to thousands. Seven horses live at home, among them Luna, Josey and Chrome.
