About Our Equine Operations
Counselling here is described as Equine and Animal Assisted Counseling, a psychotherapy modality that allows emotionally hurting individuals to build a relationship with a horse or other animal to bring about transformation and healing, delivered alongside EMDR and facilitated by Licensed Professional Counselors or LPC interns. The charity became a 501(c)(3) in 2009 under founder Robert F. Williams, and its stated aim is a sanctuary for trauma survivors, special needs animals and male survivors of sex trafficking. Executive director Landon C. Dickeson holds MS, LPC and C-DBT; programme director Anna Walton holds MS and LPC. A third arm, Bob’s House of Hope, is a safe house for young adult male trafficking survivors. Community clients are not being accepted at present.
