About Our Equine Operations
Stevie McCarron Wigley started this hunter/jumper operation on Lansing Lane in Midway in 2005, after riding for Willow Tree Farm, Wild Turkey Farm, Candice King and Anne Kursinski; she placed eighth in the 1997 Maclay finals and rode junior jumper and equitation finals at Madison Square Garden and Harrisburg. She teaches with one assistant trainer and four full-time grooms. Lessons for riders who do not board cost $80 for an hour at the farm, or $100 per lesson if the trainer travels to the client’s facility; a day at a show is charged at $150. Riders range from children to Midway and University of Kentucky students and adult amateurs, showing on the KHJA circuit and at the Kentucky Horse Park.
