About Our Equine Operations
Rosemount’s Fluegel’s Farm, Garden & Pet Supply traces to 1927, when Leo Fluegel founded the business as a grain elevator; the family has run it on South Robert Trail for nearly a century. Alongside dog, cat, chicken, small-animal, reptile and wild-bird lines, the store manufactures its own house-brand horse feed on site, selling 10, 12 and 14 per cent sweet feeds, hi-fat pellets, senior pellets and ration balancers priced between roughly $12 and $30 for a 50-pound bag. National equine brands including Purina, Nutrena, Triple Crown and Pro Elite fill out the horse aisle. A greenhouse and lawn department adds grass seed, fertiliser and salt, and the business also stocks firewood and backyard-chicken supplies.
