About Our Equine Operations
Founded in 2012 as an ambulatory equine practice, Julius Rehabilitation & Integrative Veterinary Services is based in Hastings under Dr. Shantel Julius, who has since added house-call care for dogs and cats. She earned her DVM from the University of Minnesota after a Bachelor of Science in veterinary technology from North Dakota State University, then added certifications between 2016 and 2023 spanning Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, canine rehabilitation, veterinary acupuncture, and veterinary spinal manipulation therapy. For horses the practice offers acupuncture, spinal manipulation, rehabilitation, laser therapy, digital thermography, herbal medicine and hospice care, along with routine dental exams and floating; it does not perform radiographs in house and refers those cases elsewhere.
