About Our Equine Operations
A USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist with Distinction and an FEI rider, Teresa Cusker began riding in 1999 at a Minnesota dressage stable before relocating her training business, Arete Equestrian, to south-western Montana. Her programmes run from young-horse starting through FEI-level dressage work, structured as a mix of training packages, private lessons and coached sessions across disciplines, backed by a show programme that travels to USDF-recognised competitions regionally. Teresa also trained under students of Buck Brannaman and Pat Parelli, and folds natural-horsemanship groundwork into her dressage instruction, including work with young horses and problem-horse rehabilitation. Lessons and training take place out of Bridger Canyon Stallion Station, an independently run facility.
