About Our Equine Operations
Built in 1963 and still trading from its original spot at 2211 N. Holmes Ave. in north Idaho Falls, this store leans unusually hard towards farrier work: anvils, forges and forge stands, nippers with a rebuilding service, rasps, pull-offs, hoof jacks, and shoes sorted by aluminium, steel, sliding plate, race plate, draft, pony and mule. The tack room carries saddles from a $61.99 child’s tandem to a $550 Caldwell youth roper, plus headstalls and bridles, bits, bosals and mecates, breastcollars, cinches, stirrups and pads, with leather-working supplies and tack repair alongside. Purina horse feeds fill the feed aisle. Hay is not sold; the shop posts a free notice board of local suppliers instead.
