About Our Equine Operations
Debbie Cate has owned horses since 1989 and opened this family-owned, small stable in O’Fallon in 1992. Full board covers hay and grain twice per day with stalls cleaned daily, and horses are turned out most of the time unless there is bad weather. Western riding lessons run an hour and teach basic care and riding skills, using games and small obstacle courses to make learning fun; the Natural Horsemanship method guides training, and lesson horses Joe and Hawk are Missouri Fox Trotters. Debbie has taught 4-H Horsemanship as a project leader, and has rehabilitated rescue horses and helped place them in new homes. Children’s riding parties are offered too, at 404 Bittersweet Drive, north of I-70 off Main Street.
