About Our Equine Operations
Older horses are the whole premise on Holtzclaw Road: the barn offers itself as a quiet, peaceful home for adult, senior and retired animals, and keeps a herd of five of its own. One plan is published, $750 a month, covering a ventilated stall with a large window, fan, rubber mats and fresh premium pine shavings, Triple Crown Senior twice a day up to four pounds, quality hay, and pasture time every day the weather allows. Lynn Clayton gives the daily personal care, Mark Clayton runs facilities and operations, and Theresa Phiel teaches riding and horse-care lessons. Leasing is offered to riders who want the routine without the purchase. Enquiries begin with a pre-boarding questionnaire.
