About Our Equine Operations
Twenty-five acres eight miles north of the Capital Beltway hold lighted indoor and outdoor rings, paddocks, fields and riding trails, and teaching has gone on there for more than forty years. Instruction is built on balanced seat equitation, which the centre treats as groundwork for dressage, jumping, eventing, endurance and western work rather than a discipline of its own. Classes split by age — Pony Pals for fives to sevens, children’s lessons to sixteen, adults from seventeen — with summer and mini day camps and show teams alongside. A thirteen-lesson group package costs $1,039; private lessons run 45 minutes at $180 for a new student, and paired privates give two riders a full hour with two instructors. Missed lessons must be made up within thirty days.
