About Our Equine Operations
Four hundred acres beside National Park land at Poolesville, with trail access through to the C&O Canal and an exercise track kept mown. Riders get a 120-by-200-foot indoor on a sand and sandstone mix with dressage mirrors and a spectator aisle, a 150-by-280 jumping ring, a 100-by-300 all-weather flatwork arena, a sloped 200-by-300 grass arena and a 60-foot round pen fenced in steel. Stalls run 14 by 14 down to 13 by 12, with unlimited hay grown on site and daytime turnout in groups of four or five; field boarders use eight paddocks of ten to fifteen acres, each with a walk-in shelter. Eight adult staff live on the premises and the owner manages in residence. The yard hosts schooling shows and a Halloween costume class.
