About Our Equine Operations
In January 2008 Cindy Italiaander bought the former Morris Equestrian Center, by her own account a run-down backyard stable, and rebuilt it as Fox Crossing Equestrian across 25 acres on South Street. Roughly 40 boarding and lesson horses now live there among 30 bright matted stalls with dutch windows, five portable stalls and a five-stall shed row. Four board tiers are offered: basic, indoor full board adding grooming, tacking, tack cleaning, mane pulling and laundry, winter board, and training board. Out-of-state horses sent for a holiday, retirees and lay-up cases are all accepted. Emilee Knox Cimino, once the farm’s own IEA team captain, and Justine Fairbarn teach riders from age five upward.
