About Our Equine Operations
Two surgical suites anchor New Jersey Equine Clinic’s 130-acre campus in Millstone Township, where the practice has functioned since 1976 as a referral hospital covering both surgery and ambulatory follow-up care. Its surgical programme includes orthopaedic repair, soft-tissue procedures such as tieback surgery and sinusotomy, and standing surgery performed under sedation for cases like non-displaced fractures and arthroscopic work; a diode laser handles minimally invasive airway and reproductive-tract procedures including epiglottic entrapment correction. Diagnostics include dynamic respiratory endoscopy alongside hyperbaric oxygen therapy for recovery cases. Ambulatory veterinarians follow up on previously hospitalised horses at racetracks, stables and training centres, and the practice maintains referral relationships across the Mid-Atlantic. It describes its scope as running from backyard companions to elite performance athletes, with on-site farrier services.
