About Our Equine Operations
Bridlepath Equine Center runs its therapeutic horsemanship programme from Trailside Farm in Quarryville, a property owned by the Kauffman family, who partner with the nonprofit to host its sessions. Founded by Danielle Swope, who earned instructor certification through PATH International and CECTH in 2017, the organisation serves individuals with special needs through one-to-one horsemanship sessions and group programming led by PATH-certified instructor Natalie Martin and further staff pursuing certification. New participants complete an intake form and a facility tour before beginning scheduled sessions meant to build toward greater independence across physical, emotional, behavioural and intellectual goals. A nine-member board oversees the 501(c)(3), which relies on volunteers and donations to sustain its programming across southern Lancaster County.
