Lesson packages here are priced by the month: Bronze at $380 buys four mounted lessons and one unmounted, Silver at $720 buys eight, and a Gold half-lease at $1,100 buys twelve, all ridden on the same horse. Owner and trainer Erika Kurtz holds a University of Findlay degree in English Equestrian Studies and Equine Business Management, a CHA instructor certification and a USEF “r” judge’s licence in hunters and equitation, and coaches the Franklin & Marshall College equestrian team. Five further instructors teach under her, among them Kyra Devine, a certified veterinary technician who heads the beginner programme, and Rachael Grice, a USEF licensed course designer. The Bernville yard fields an IEA team and takes horses for full-care board.
