About Our Equine Operations
Straddling the Lancaster-Berks county line near the Denver and Ephrata turnpike exit, Stony Run Fields has operated since at least 2013 with instructors Laura, Becky and Larissa teaching English and western riders from age five through intermediate levels. School horses drawn from dressage, hunter/jumper and pleasure backgrounds have also passed training to serve as therapy horses, and instructors hold PATH International, USEF and USHJA credentials. Horses kept at the farm pay $825 a month for a main-barn stall or $725 for a shed-row spot sized for ponies, with an in-house nutritionist customising feed and twice-daily stall cleaning; every horse there must either take weekly lessons or pay for two training rides a week. No trail riding or horse rental is offered.
