About Our Equine Operations
Furvivors Wonderland is a 501(c)(3) sanctuary started in August 2020 by co-founder and president Lakyn, based near Oxford with a mailing address in Chester Springs. The organisation takes in horses that are unwanted, neglected, abandoned, ill, aged or otherwise at risk, along with other farm animals under what it calls an open barnyard philosophy. Once rescued, animals receive rehabilitation, training, medication or long-term sanctuary residency; the site describes its horses as freed and safe forever and lists no adoption process. Supporters instead fund individual animals’ ongoing care through a monthly sponsorship programme ranging from $5 to $100. Visits are by appointment only, as the property is private.
