About Our Equine Operations
Leroy M. Sensenig bought the old Hinkletown Feed Mill from Earl Sauder in 1945 after nine years managing a smaller operation, and the business he started has since passed through four generations, moving from Hinkletown to Ephrata in 1970 and finally to its current New Holland site in 1985. His son Ken joined in 1959, grandsons Mike, Scott and Karl came aboard between 1979 and 1987, and Mike now runs the mill with his own sons Kyle and Kurt. Custom feed mixing is available in batches as small as 1,000 pounds for horses alongside dairy cattle, sheep, goats, swine and poultry rations, and the mill delivers within 50 miles of New Holland.
