About Our Equine Operations
Dr David Adam-Castrillo founded this New Hope veterinary business and runs it as an ambulatory service with a small clinic on Creamery Road for day appointments. He took his VMD at the University of Pennsylvania in 1998, interned at Mid-Atlantic Equine Medical Center, held a fellowship at Oregon State, then completed a three-year surgical residency and a master’s degree at Virginia Tech’s Marion DuPont Scott Equine Medical Center in 2003, becoming a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons the following year. Digital radiography, ultrasonography and upper airway endoscopy all travel to the farm or run at the clinic. Treatment options include joint injections, shockwave, bone marrow aspirate concentrate, laser and Pro-Stride. He is trained in acupuncture and osteopathy. Office manager Kim Hughes gained AAEVT certification in 2024.
