About Our Equine Operations
Owner and ranch manager Heidi Cameron holds a BA in child development and psychology, is an EAGALA certified equine specialist, and served as EAGALA’s Southern California networking coordinator in 2020-21. Worlds Alive Equine works from various Ventura County locations rather than one published address. Its therapeutic ranch experience is deliberately unmounted, with guests of any age feeding, brushing, braiding and leading the animals: $35 for 30 minutes, $45 for 45 and $55 for an hour, plus $15 per extra participant, one adult free per minor and support staff free. Horse-powered reading, homeschool classes, equine art classes, Reiki and birthday parties are also booked. Equine assisted psychotherapy is delivered with independent licensed therapists Matt Tentler and Melanie Moir, who each maintain their own practices.
