About Our Equine Operations
Icelandic horses are the entire business here, and the ground reflects it: a 250-meter FEIF-sanctioned oval track, a 300-meter pace track, a covered arena, a 20-meter round pen and a natural horsemanship trail at 36727 Leith Lane, where Antje Freygang established the farm in 2015. The stallion Galdur fra Reykjavik stands at Montaire, assessed at 8.33 for conformation, 8.5 for each gait including tolt and pace, and 9.0 for spirit. Head coach Nicole Kempf, an IPZV Trainer A and master instructor, gives private and semi-private lessons and trail rides, with a few schooling horses available first come. Boarding, training, sales and breeding evaluations round it out, and the 2026 calendar lists schooling shows, pre-show clinics and gaited classes such as pleasure tolt and five-gait.
